I purchased a Groupon (coupon) from Certified Moving and scheduled my move a month before my move date. I should have seen the red flags from the start. I called and left a message. My call was returned; however, he just asked me to email him with my details. I did and I didn't hear back from Larry Durham for a few days. I sent a follow up email and he apologized for not getting back to me, he was out of town. He said he would send me a confirmation email. I received that confirmation and thought we were good to go. My move was scheduled for 1/9/10 from 8 am - 10 am. I never received a phone call or email to confirm my appointment. I emailed Larry the Thursday before the move to confirm and no response. I called Larry the Friday before the move and no response. Saturday came and went as I waited for the movers. NO MOVERS SHOWED. I PREPAID for this service! It's now Monday and I still have not received a phone call or email. THIS IS A SCAM!!!
