I only found out on the day of the move that the deposit I made was with a broker. The company that showed up on the day of the move overcharged for every packing material used. The cost increased by 20%. Delivery was promised within two weeks verbally by the broker when I reserved the move. We received our stuff almost 4 weeks. After the move going through my emails I discovered there is a a website to find out if you're dealing with a broker, www.protectyourmove.gov.
